the first decade of the last century

my family rarely celebrated any holiday. because we are never religious, while being zen with buddhism, christianity, confucianism, and, of course my favorite, shamanism. also because we follow both solar and lunar calendars, resulting in multiple new years and ever-changing birthdays. but probably mostly because we were beyond frugal and my parents never developed a habit of giving out gifts or sweets.

i came to this continent ten years ago, my weak ass lived a quarter century - only loosely speaking, the first decade of the last century disappeared in the ash of strange realization and universal love.
