swine flu at the first hand

i felt sick sunday evening. that morning i went a grocery shopping and a big brunch. feeling quite good. monday morning i woke up, feeling really crappy. i got sick. oh well. suck it up. it didnt get any better tuesday or today.

so i went to a university clinic. a nurse measured a temperature which came out to be 96.xx and told me i dont have a fever. but i got a headache and i've been feeling tired all day. i cough a bit and my nose is stuffed.

wait. wait. wait. wait. with a blue mask on. wait. wait. then a doctor came in. she looked into my ears and listened to how i breath, since my medical record says i have a mild asthma.

but let me tell you, how she treated me badly. well. anyhow. she said i have flu and i should go read their special website on swine flu. then she gave me tamiflu, which is very ineffective for swine flu or seasonal flu. then she told me i need to self-isolate myself for days without going to classes, work, dining halls, and whatnot. i must talk noone without a mask. i must report my flu to a bunch of administrative people at the university. i must report my temperature everyday.
